Hi,

I've added a journey planner dialog that links directly to ECan's journey planner.

I've got some more thoughts on also integrating the stops.

i.e. from the stop pop up you can that stop directly into the form without re-typing, ready for journey planning and a few other thoughts too ... will add in when I have time.

Not all complete, but at the moment this is all the time I can afford.

Hi,

I've done a wee project to bring some better mapping for the Christchurch/Timaru Metro Buses.

It's work building on top of an initial project I did for a esri GIS mashup competition to have extra features and have a better polished look using some HTML5 features.

Feel free to use it here ....

Note: It's best viewed in Chrome 4.0+ / Safari 4.0+ / Firefox 3.5+, but not that poor example as a browser IE. :3)

sorted the nz met web site change.

If you have any problems just clear your cache in settings under safari.

p.s. only os 3 or above is supported from now on.

Hi

I've noticed tonight that the met service has been playing around with portions of the web site under the hood causing the weather app to find no data and error ....

I'm on the case and will update the app tonight with a fix.

Hi,

This is a small tidy up of some UI components plus added a couple new.

tidy up high low values
added radar times
changed radar picture order so that the early value starts first (west to east direction ..opps thanks for the feedback by one user)

I've released a web application that I have created using the data from New Zealand's metservices web site.

The application is a pure web app, but acts like a native one.

Works with both the iphone and itouch.

I hope you enjoy it.

How to Add NZ metMate to your iPhone/iTouch Home Screen

A number of people ask us how to add a link to the NZ metMate on their iPhone/iTouch home screen. Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to do! Here are some step-by-step instructions.

Open Safari and browse to nzmetmate.coomsie.com on your iPhone/iTouch.
Tap the “+” icon located at the bottom of the screen once you’ve reached the nz metMate homepage .
Tap on “Add to Home Screen” to bring up the 'add to home' page:
Change the name that will appear under the icon on your home screen if you want to.
Tap “Add” when you’re finished. Your iPhone/iTouch should automatically navigate back to the home screen where you’ll see the NZ metMate icon listed among your other applications:
Access nzmetmate by tapping this icon.
